Bushmeat – One of the wildlife species targeted in the bushmeat trade is Giraffe. Their numbers have declined drastically to only 80,000 over the last few years and PAMS Foundation started a project to specifically protect this species in the Tarangire-Lake Manyara national parks ecosystem, since May 2015.
Monitoring – The Wild Nature Institute conducts Scientific Research and monitoring on giraffe and their habitats, advocates for their protection, and educates the public about the need to preserve wild nature. Their core project area in Tanzania is in the Tarangire-Lake Manyara ecosystem.
